It is so important for children to be in school and on time every day. The expectation is that schools maintain an attendance level of at least 97%. This is the measure that schools are subject to during both local and national inspections. It is also a legal requirement for children to attend school regularly.
Please avoid taking your child on holiday during term time.
DID YOU KNOW?
Whilst 95% attendance doesn’t sound too bad, across a year it means your child would have missed 9 days of school, or 45 lessons. Over 7 years of primary school, 95% attendance each year would add up to 12.5 weeks or 3 months or one whole term of missed school.
